This ambitious multi-phase, multi-year project focused on the structural and waterproofing restoration of a 93-unit condominium complex in Burlington, Ontario. The effort extended beyond structural repairs and included the extensive revitalization of the outside common areas, as well as complete reconstruction of the individual backyard spaces for unit owners. A critical aspect of the project was upgrading the high-voltage electrical systems, ensuring the property met modern standards for safety and efficiency. Through meticulous planning and execution, this project addressed both structural integrity and long-term utility for both the landlord and residents alike.

Beneath the iconic gold-glass reflections and constant activity of Royal Bank Plaza lies a podium deck that serves as a gateway to Toronto's underground network, The Path. This complex restoration project involved the removal of large portions of the podium overburden along Bay Street and Front Street, providing access to the underlying structure. The work included extensive waterproofing and structural concrete repairs across all three levels of the parking garage. The project culminated with the meticulous reinstatement of the original large-format granite pavers. Each paver was tagged and cataloged into a numerical system by Macdero’s in-house survey team, ensuring precise placement according to a detailed schematic drawing.

This two-year podium deck restoration project in midtown Toronto transformed the space into a modern architectural showcase. The work included extensive structural concrete repairs and comprehensive waterproofing of the podium deck to enhance the buildings structural integrity. The revitalized site featured high-end architectural finishes, complemented by the integration of modern art installations, sculpture gardens, and multiple reflecting fountains. These additions not only elevated the aesthetic appeal of the property but also created a vibrant, artistic environment for residents and visitors to enjoy.

This Macdero Interiors project achieved a comprehensive transformation of the pool and hot tub spa area, seamlessly blending functionality with modern aesthetics. The project encompassed a complete refurbishment of the pool deck and tank, the installation of new interior tiles, and upgraded lighting to enhance the ambiance. A standout feature of the renovation was the integration of a state-of-the-art Dectron Dry-O-Tron dehumidification system, ensuring optimal air quality and climate control. The result is a revitalized, efficient, and visually appealing recreational space designed for maximum comfort and enjoyment.

This striking pool deck and tank refurbishment project delivered a bold transformation with a focus on both functionality and design. The work included the installation of new interior tiles and finishes, adding a fresh, contemporary look to the space, while upgraded electrical lighting created a vibrant and inviting ambiance. The result is a standout renovation that seamlessly combines modern aesthetics with upgraded amenities, ensuring an exceptional experience for users.

This year-long podium deck restoration project addressed every detail to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic harmony. The work included extensive structural concrete repairs, comprehensive podium deck waterproofing, and a major overhaul of the on-grade main driveway entrance. A key challenge was the meticulous salvaging and reinstatement of the historic granite cobblestones, preserving the site's historical charm. Additional enhancements featured new planters and landscape elements, all thoughtfully integrated to complement the historic McMaster House, creating a seamless blend of modern functionality and timeless elegance.

Located in the heart of Downtown Toronto, this expansive 80,000-square-foot parking deck restoration project was carried out in multiple phases to breathe new life into the property. The scope of work included essential structural repairs and comprehensive waterproofing of the podium deck and pool, ensuring durability and resilience for years to come. In addition to these critical upgrades, the project introduced a host of property enhancements, including upgraded landscape finishes, thoughtfully curated art installations, and a lively artificial turf dog park. Together, these features transformed the space into a dynamic and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

This pedestrian bridge installation was a critical project that addressed the collapse of the original structure connecting a plaza to a schoolyard. To restore safe and efficient access, the damaged bridge was replaced with a prefabricated design. This solution expedited construction while ensuring structural reliability and modern compliance. The new bridge serves as a durable and practical link, providing a vital pathway for the community.
